BRITT LONGSDORF

Britt Longsdorf (she/her) has been a passionate practicing artist since the age of 7. A scholar of art and spirituality, she views art-making as a centering spiritual practice because the act of creation makes us more present, alive, and engaged in the communities that surround us. In her work, she shares this presence and life with the viewer. Following in the spirit of Expressionist and Impressionist painters before her, Longsdorf seeks to bring more fully into view the often-overlooked depths of color and vibrancy that saturate our world. An avid explorer of the outdoors, her recent work showcases the quiet loveliness of Maine’s wilderness.
